(NADS) - Da Lat is considered the largest flower conservation and production center in the country. With a 130-year tradition of flower cultivation, Da Lat produces approximately 4 billion flower stems of various types annually, serving both domestic consumption and export (average revenue reaching 700 million VND/hectare/year).
Da Lat boasts thousands of native and imported flower species, blooming brilliantly throughout all four seasons, so it's no exaggeration to say that " Da Lat is the largest flower museum in Indochina."
Flowers are everywhere, captivating people's hearts. They adorn the beauty of Da Lat, with a dazzling array of colors (green, red, purple, yellow, white, brown, orange...). What makes Da Lat special when spring arrives is the appearance of various flowers: cherry blossoms, orchids, mimosa, jacaranda, flamboyant trees, tulips, bellflowers, and white bauhinia. Though each has its own unique color, they blend together to create a breathtaking springtime picture of Da Lat.
Just a glimpse of some of the city's most iconic flowers reveals that Da Lat truly deserves the title of "Vietnam's Flower Festival City."
