Check the mango before processing.
Determined to bring local agricultural products to the international market, Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited (Tien Ngan Company) in Thong Nhat Ward has officially completed preparations to export the first batch of frozen mangoes to the Korean market. This is a milestone of special significance not only for the company but also for the Agriculture and Environment sector of Phu Tho province in general.
As a business operating in the field of general wholesale, Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited was established with the mission of enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products, especially typical products of mountainous regions. With the advantage of being located near large mango growing areas in Phu Tho and Son La provinces, Tien Ngan Company has focused on investing in a closed value chain from raw material areas to deep processing, gradually improving the quality and competitiveness of products.
Over the years, the company has cooperated with cooperatives and farmers in Phu Tho and Son La provinces to build a standard mango material area, creating an important foundation for export processing. Not stopping at the traditional preliminary processing stage, Tien Ngan Company boldly invested in a modern freezing factory system, applying quick freezing technology, helping to preserve the flavor, color and nutritional value of the fruit after harvest, ensuring that the product meets international standards for quality and food hygiene and safety.
Quickly checking the mango products in preparation for the first batch of frozen mangoes grown in Phu Tho to be officially exported to the Korean market, Ms. Le Thi Nham - Deputy Director of Tien Ngan Company shared: Korea is one of the largest agricultural import markets in Asia, but is also famous for its strict requirements on quality, food safety and traceability. In order to bring products to this market, Tien Ngan Company has gone through a preparation process including testing shipments, improving production processes, completing plant quarantine procedures and obtaining food hygiene and safety certification according to HACCP standards. We consider conquering the Korean market an important stepping stone to expand exports to other countries in the region such as Japan, Taiwan and then Europe. The first batch not only has commercial significance but also affirms that Phu Tho agricultural products are fully competitive in the international market.

According to the plan, the company's first batch of frozen mangoes will include 24 tons of sliced mangoes, packaged and stored at -18 degrees Celsius. The shipment is expected to arrive in Korea in mid-September 2025 and be distributed through a supermarket chain specializing in selling imported foods.
A special point in the development strategy of Tien Ngan Company is the focus on sustainability and social responsibility. The company purchases agricultural products at stable market prices to ensure the quality of input materials as well as create jobs and increase income for local people.
According to Ms. Nham, in the coming time, the company will export frozen avocado, dried radish, sugarcane... to Korea and some other markets to enhance the brand value of the province's agricultural products.
The fact that Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited is preparing to export the first batch of frozen mangoes to Korea is not only an economic achievement but also a source of pride for Phu Tho farmers - those who are improving the quality of agricultural products every day with the desire to reach out to the world. This is also a positive signal showing that Vietnamese mango products in general, and Phu Tho mango products in particular, can stand firm and develop sustainably in the international market.
