Playground for training - development - inspiration
Summer is always the most anticipated time of the year for children – a time to play, explore and develop themselves after a year of hard study. And this summer has become more special than ever with the birth of SHB FC Academy – a meaningful sports and education program for children of employees of Saigon – Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB).
SHB FC Academy is not just a place to learn football. This is a useful playground for children aged 6 to 14 (both boys and girls), where they are trained by coaches and players of SHB FC Club. With a methodical and professional training program, children will develop football skills, physical strength, discipline and team spirit - core values that contribute to the formation of personality and life skills.
Not only does SHB FC Academy focus on “foot training and ball training”, it also integrates soft skills development activities,educating the spirit of sportsmanship, the will to excel and the spirit of fair competition. These will be valuable practical lessons to help children become more mature, stronger and more confident in the journey ahead.

“I am really happy and excited to join SHB FC Academy. I have loved football for a long time, and now I have the opportunity to learn many new skills, play football happily and learn how to work as a team. I hope to become a good player in the future and thank SHB for giving us this great opportunity,” shared Minh Khoi, 9 years old.
In the first year of implementation, SHB FC Academy was held in Hanoi . It is expected that in the near future, the program will continue to expand to other provinces and cities nationwide, so that more and more children of SHB employees have the opportunity to participate and experience a modern, friendly and inspiring football environment.
SHB FC Academy will be the place to foster innocent joys, hearty laughter, energetic training sessions and unforgettable childhood memories – a memorable summer of love, connection and the beginning of great dreams.

SHB also shows its love for its employees through special moments and events that strengthen the bond throughout the journey. The event “SHB and T&T Group Cultural Festival – Firmly entering the new era” held in March at My Dinh National Stadium is a testament to a warm working environment where spiritual values are cherished and spread.
The event aims to express gratitude, strengthen solidarity, increase love and pride in the organization of employees, and add motivation to prepare together to enter the leading breakthrough phase; while conveying the message about the mindset, aspiration and vision of T&T and SHB, ready to enter the New Era - the Era of national growth. In particular, the Cultural Festival is also a journey to honor traditional values, combined with the spirit of creativity and innovation towards a sustainable future of the organization and the country.
The festival gathered 15,000 staff, representing 80,000 domestic and foreign workers of the two organizations, selected with the priority criteria of workers directly involved in production in various fields and industries. This is the first time in history that a corporate culture festival in Vietnam has been organized on an unprecedented scale, imbued with the spirit of the international Olympics. The event was marked by the torch procession and the flame from Hung Temple lighting up My Dinh Stadium; and the record number of people singing the National Anthem at a corporate culture festival in Vietnam.
“Putting people as the subject” is not only one of the four important pillars in SHB's journey of strong and comprehensive transformation, but also an affirmation of the humanistic philosophy that has been, is and will always be present in every step of the Bank.
Besides its humanistic values, SHB FC Academy is also a vivid example of the burning love for football of SHB people. That passion was ignited and spread by SHB Chairman of the Board of Directors Do Quang Hien - a person who always carries within himself the passion and desire to bring the country's football to the top.
At the ASEAN Cup 2024, SHB chartered several flights to bring fans and players’ families to Thailand to cheer on the Vietnamese national team in the second leg of the final. The bank also donated a total of VND7.5 billion to the team, coaching staff and players.
