The film screening became even more meaningful when young people listened to the moving stories shared by two historical witnesses – individuals who had "experienced the hardships of struggle" in the student movement during the resistance years. These were Mr. Pham Xuan Binh, Head of the Alumni Association of Cao Thang Technical College (formerly General Director of Tan Thuan Industrial Development Company Limited - IPC), and Mr. Hoang Don Nhat Tan, Vice Chairman of the City Youth Union's Traditional Club (formerly Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union). Notably, both gentlemen are former students of Cao Thang Technical College.

Dr. Tong Thanh Nhan, Vice Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said the program took place in a solemn atmosphere, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) – a momentous historical milestone reminding every Vietnamese person, especially the younger generation, of the value of independence, freedom, and the responsibility to preserve the achievements of the revolution through practical actions today.

"Every young person today is a flame carrying on the heroic spirit of their forefathers. Young people live, study, and contribute in a way that is worthy of the nation's history. History does not end in books; history burns brightly in the hearts of young people," Dr. Nhan emphasized.

Mr. Pham Xuan Binh and Mr. Hoang Don Nhat Tan are former students of Cao Thang Technical College and were involved in the political struggle.
