The scholarship program "Supporting the Development of High-Quality Human Resources for Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City" was established with the desire to accompany the city in developing education and training and cultivating human resources. These are two key factors in promoting sustainable socio -economic development in the Thu Duc City area.
Notably, this is the first scholarship program applied to all students in a single city. Accordingly, all high school graduates in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, who choose to study at SIU will receive a 30% tuition fee subsidy for the entire course.
A highlight of the program is the diversity of majors/specializations offered at SIU, allowing students to choose and pursue their passions. The scholarships are not subject to any conditions for continued study in subsequent years, providing maximum convenience for students on their academic journey and alleviating concerns about financial burdens.
The scholarship is a new step by SIU towards investing in the city's future workforce.
In the context of increasing emphasis and investment in education , SIU understands its role and responsibility, and desires to contribute to nurturing a dynamic, creative generation of young people capable of contributing to the development of their local communities and the country.
Recently, SIU signed agreements for this scholarship program with several high schools in Thu Duc City.
Sharing her thoughts on the scholarship program, Ms. Hoang Thi Hao, Principal of Dao Son Tay High School, said: "For many years, SIU has been considered a cradle that nurtures and helps students' dreams soar with many meaningful programs, most recently the Scholarship for Building High-Quality Human Resources for Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. This is proof of the school's concern for the education and future of our students."
The scholarship program is a significant step forward in expanding opportunities for students in Thu Duc City to access a modern, internationally standardized educational environment right in their own neighborhood, making learning and experiences more convenient.
SIU provides students with an international learning environment with world-class, distinctive facilities.
