During the preliminary rehearsal, the forces participating in the parade marched one after another across the stage, starting with the national emblem, the Party flag, and the national flag; followed by the procession carrying the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh , the model of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; followed by the command vehicle, the vehicle carrying the Quyet Thang Military Flag, the honorary blocks of the military branches, and the female military band.
The highlight of the rehearsal was the deployment of infantry and equipment from the army and police forces, along with the participation of military forces from friendly countries such as Russia, Laos, and Cambodia, clearly demonstrating the international spirit, solidarity, and strong friendship.
In addition, mass groups representing social classes such as workers, farmers, intellectuals, youth, women, veterans, the overseas Vietnamese community, and the cultural and sports sectors also actively participated in the parade, contributing to sketching a vivid picture of the great national unity bloc.
