The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever, with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 industries in various fields (defense, security, foreign affairs, industry, agriculture, trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, etc.) with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements during the "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" of our nation under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam ; at the same time, it demonstrates the cultural traditions, the spirit of enthusiastic work, and effective production and business of the people and enterprises in all regions of the country; especially depicting the image of the country and people of Vietnam with thousands of years of heroic history of the nation; the culture imbued with national identity and unity in diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of products in all 3 regions of the North - Central - South; The development and progress of all ministries, departments, branches, 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Exhibition "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is a special highlight, not only honoring the glorious historical journey, but also spreading patriotism, national pride, aspiration to rise up, affirming Vietnam's potential and position on the path of innovation, integration and sustainable development.
Participating in the Exhibition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade was assigned by the Government to organize two exhibition zones. The first zone focuses on displaying the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector over 80 years of history: from the early days of the resistance war to the industrialization and modernization period in the "Development and Construction" space. The second exhibition zone is the "Start-up and National Construction" space, which honors the role of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.
The exhibition area "Start-up and nation building" was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Department of Trade Promotion) with the participation of nearly 100 prestigious export enterprises, national brand enterprises, and typical enterprises, clearly affirming the position of private enterprises in the national economy. The exhibition area "Start-up and nation building" was designed in a unified manner, taking the identity and colors of the Vietnam National Brand program as the theme, to promote prestigious products and the image of the country to the world and domestically. Enterprises were guided to design typical messages for each historical period, many enterprises cleverly recreated the development journey of their industry, closely linked to the growth of the country's economy.
The exhibition area “Start-up and nation building” displays typical, pioneering products and services with high brand recognition, representing regional and international initiatives and inventions. Here, visitors will have access to information about the brand, mission, and vision of the business, expressing the aspiration to build a prosperous and strong country.
With the participation of private enterprises participating in the exhibition, the exhibition area "Start-up and national construction" is not only a display event, but also a clear demonstration of the comprehensive development of the Industry and Trade sector, from processing and manufacturing industries, textiles, footwear to energy and e-commerce. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to affirm their production capacity, creativity and international integration. Through this exhibition, international friends will see the image of a confident, dynamic, creative and sustainable Vietnam. From there, it opens up opportunities for businesses to connect and expand markets, while also strongly affirming the position of the Industry and Trade sector in the country's development process.
To expand the reach and spread the value of the national brand, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Trade Promotion Agency) also coordinated with Arobid Technology Joint Stock Company to launch the 3D online exhibition "Start-up and nation building" at https://Promocen.arobid.com, taking place from August 28 to September 30, 2025.
The online exhibition aims to honor the 80-year journey of building and developing the country; affirm the capacity for innovation, technological potential and brand position of Vietnamese enterprises in the digital age; at the same time, create a large-scale digital trade forum, contributing to expanding international trade connections and sustainable development.
The online exhibition area "Startup and Nation Building" has the participation of 5 state-owned enterprises; 87 non-state-owned enterprises, including 63 enterprises in the Top 500 Vietnam and 56 enterprises achieving National Brand in 2024; 2 industry associations.
In addition, the exhibition also introduces more than 78 enterprises with more than 550 products in many fields: textiles - fashion, agricultural products - food, wood - furniture, handicrafts, pharmaceuticals, chemicals - construction materials, technology, environment, machinery and equipment, logistics and trade support services.
