Deep message

Participating in the National Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Ministry of Industry and Trade was assigned by the Party and the State to organize two main areas at the exhibition. The first area focuses on displaying the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector over 80 years of history. From the early days of the resistance war to the industrialization and modernization period in the "Development and Construction" space. The second area is the "Start-up and National Construction" space, which honors the role of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.

At the "Khoi ky Kien quoc" space, according to the Industry and Trade Newspaper, as of August 26, the exhibition area has been basically completed and prepared for the opening day on August 28 at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).

Speaking to reporters of the Industry and Trade Newspaper , Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Trade Promotion Department said that on the afternoon of August 25, right after the meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, at the request of the Ministry's Steering Committee, the Trade Promotion Department went directly to the National Exhibition Center to comprehensively inspect the preparations of businesses participating in the exhibition area.

Directly inspecting the construction progress of the "Kho nghiep Kien quoc" space organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Director of the Trade Promotion Agency acknowledged the efforts of participating enterprises in urgently constructing the booths to ensure progress.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu said that in the past half month, nearly 100 businesses have worked hard day and night to urgently complete the display items. “After many inspections, today it can be confirmed that the businesses have basically completed the hard infrastructure as well as the booth decoration. There are only a few small items left and the product display will be completed on June 26. We are completely assured that the businesses are ready for the opening ceremony on August 28,” Mr. Phu emphasized.

Mr. Phu added that this afternoon (August 26), Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien personally went to inspect for the last time, preparing for the rehearsal on the morning of August 27, ensuring the event was opened solemnly, as planned.

According to Mr. Phu, the organization of this exhibition is of special importance. This is an unprecedented large event, with a scale of tens of thousands of square meters, in which the exhibition area of enterprises alone occupies an area of more than 1.9 hectares out of a total of 4.34 hectares of the entire exhibition area. The Minister of Industry and Trade has assigned the Trade Promotion Agency the responsibility of inviting and providing maximum support to enterprises from many economic sectors to participate, thereby creating a comprehensive picture of the development achievements of the Vietnamese industry and trade sector.

However, Mr. Phu also said that because this was the first time Vietnam organized an exhibition of Industry and Trade on a national scale, many businesses were still confused, lacking a script and experience. The construction progress was also constantly adjusted, at times having to be shortened up to three times.

“In that context, the Trade Promotion Agency has always accompanied businesses. We worked closely with the Organizing Committee, the Exhibition Management Board and the design units to both appraise, approve and support businesses in implementation. There were times when the support department had to be on duty 24/7 to promptly resolve difficulties and ensure progress. Thanks to that, up to now, the exhibition booths have not only been completed on time but also achieved high quality,” said Mr. Phu.

According to the Trade Promotion Agency, the highlight of this year's exhibition is not only the grandeur and diversity in design but also the depth of the message conveyed by each booth. Many businesses have cleverly recreated the development journey of their industry, closely linked to the growth of the country's economy.

“We clearly see the serious investment and dedication of businesses. They not only want to introduce their products but also want to recreate a part of history, demonstrating the process of innovation and integration, self-reliance and self-reliance of Vietnam over the past 80 years. During the discussions with businesses, we clearly felt their honor and pride in participating in this national event, ” said Mr. Phu.

Affirming the position of the Industry and Trade sector

Thanks to its characteristic bright green color, modern design and series of attractive interactive activities, standing out in the exhibition space within the framework of the National Achievement Exhibition, with the message "Vinamilk 50 years of pioneering Vietnam - Reaching the world", Vinamilk's two booths vividly recreated the journey of a national brand to rise with the country; as well as the combination of natural nutrition and scientific and technological achievements in production.

Vinamilk representative said that within the framework of the Socio-Economic Achievements exhibition, for the first time Vinamilk brought an overview of the technological breakthroughs and proud achievements that the enterprise has achieved, in parallel with the development of the country. The highlight is the demonstration area of dual vacuum technology to "lock the freshness" of natural milk - the first successful application to the fresh milk industry in Vietnam.

The exhibition booth also has an interactive game area and virtual reality experience, where visitors of all ages can learn about nutrition and Vinamilk products in an interesting and lively way. The “check-in” photo corner is beautifully designed according to the theme of 80 years of National Day.

Also one of the honored enterprises to participate in the exhibition area "Kho nghiep Kien quoc", Mr. Nguyen Trong Phi - Chairman of Giovanni Group, shared: "This is a particularly meaningful event, an opportunity for us to introduce our production capacity, creativity and the journey of developing Vietnamese fashion - footwear brands to domestic and international customers. Participating in the exhibition is not only a product display, but also a way for enterprises to affirm their position in the global value chain".

Giovanni is one of the few brands in Vietnam that owns a closed production chain “from A to Z”, from creative design, product development, raw material supply to production, distribution and trade. The highlight of Giovanni’s exhibition space is the live demonstration of the stages of handmade and semi-handmade handbag production.

Accordingly, here, visitors can witness the process of creating a high-end product, from selecting raw materials to the sophisticated finishing stage under the hands of skilled Vietnamese craftsmen.

Mr. Phi said: “We want customers to see the difference between high-end products and mass-produced products. High-end is not only about design but also about the origin of raw materials, which must be environmentally friendly, provided by reputable partners and in a strict production process. It is the combination of modern technology and the skillful hands of the craftsmen, bringing outstanding value to the product."

“We consider this exhibition as an opportunity to tell our brand story, proving that Vietnam is fully capable of mastering manufacturing technology, creating high-end products that meet international standards, and at the same time being competitive in the global market. Through this activity, businesses hope to convey a message of professionalism, sustainability and the aspiration to build a world-class Vietnamese brand,” Mr. Phi emphasized.

With the participation of private enterprises participating in the exhibition, it is not only a display event, but also a clear demonstration of the comprehensive development of the Industry and Trade sector, from processing, manufacturing, textile, footwear to energy and e-commerce. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to affirm their production capacity, innovation and international integration.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu affirmed: "We believe that through this exhibition, international friends will see the image of a confident, dynamic, creative and sustainable Vietnam. This event opens up opportunities for businesses to connect and expand markets, and is also a strong affirmation of the position of the Industry and Trade sector in the country's development process."
