Ms. Yen shared her feelings when she arrived at Thanh Nien Street early with her son's family.
Being in the capital for the first time on the occasion of an important holiday, Mrs. Yen was very excited. She told her son to buy her a shirt with a red flag and yellow star, "to wear it with spirit".
Ms. Yen said she was willing to wait until 8 p.m., despite the possibility of rain. "My house is far away, I'm old, and it will probably be difficult to come back on September 2nd. This is the only time I can see it, so I have to wait," Ms. Yen shared.
Another group that arrived early was Vu Linh Chi's group of friends (36 years old, residing in Vinh Hung, Hanoi). To get a good seat, some people in the group went "surveying" the night before. Knowing that Thanh Nien Street was where equipment was gathered, the group decided to gather here to be able to fully watch the "unique" moment.
