Playwright Hoang Song Viet has a good harvest

Coincidentally, four young directors chose the script by playwright Hoang Song Viet to stage and perform at Tran Huu Trang Theater in March 2025.

The four plays are "Duyen Kiep" (directed by Hoang Chuong), "Hiu Hiu Gio Bac" (directed by Vo Thanh Tien), "Cay Lo Ban" (directed by Dien Trung) and "Tears of Deep Love" (directed by Tran Ngoc Nha Thy). Among these, the script for "Cay Lo Ban" was adapted by playwright Hoang Song Viet from a literary script by writer Nguyen Thu Phuong.

These four plays have been re-produced by young directors, incorporating changes in social life, so that the stories breathe life today.

Director Hoang Chuong expressed: "I thank the scripts of playwright Hoang Song Viet. He writes with a literary quality, which is a valuable foundation for us to promote creativity, bringing to the cai luong stage new, beautiful marks that are suitable for the enjoyment needs of young audiences when coming to cai luong art."
