The Chiềng Lao commune cross-country race was a lively event.

As part of the 2025 Moss Harvesting Festival in Pa Hop village, Chieng Lao commune, the People's Committee of Chieng Lao commune organized a cross-country race on December 20th. Over 500 athletes from various agencies, units, businesses, and residents of villages within Chieng Lao commune participated.

Athletes competed in both men's and women's events, covering a distance of 4.5km. The race route started from the Huoi Cheo village stadium, followed small trails along the mountain slopes, through forests and the fields of local people to the moss-picking competition site in Pa Hop village.

The race took place in the early morning fog, posing many challenges and requiring athletes to have endurance, agility, and the ability to adapt to the unique terrain of the highlands. The athletes competed with all their might, completing the race in the fastest time.
