In June 6, the Board will present the entire Sustainable Fisheries Development Project, including the Tam Quan storm shelter sub-project. After June 2024, steps will be taken to negotiate an agreement and implement investment in 30 and 6.

The Tam Quan regional storm shelter construction investment subproject is built and designed according to two options. Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that the province agrees with option 1. However, in the long term, the port needs to invest methodically to achieve high efficiency.
According to Mr. Thanh, in Option 1, a number of additional items need to be added to complete upgrading the fishing port from class 2 to class 1. This is very urgent, related to confirmation of seafood origin.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien assessed that the policy of building an anchorage area to shelter from storms is urgent. In addition to choosing investment options, functional units need to consider investment efficiency.
