DNO - On the afternoon of February 3rd, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Ho Ky Minh, worked with departments and agencies on the implementation of policies according to Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolutions No. 57/2024/NQ-HĐND, 58/2024/NQ-HĐND, and 59/2024/NQ-HĐND of the City People's Council related to the development of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in the city.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that departments and agencies review and propose the addition of specific policies in the fields of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence that are not yet regulated in Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 and the three resolutions of the City People's Council;

Reviewing land support for startup projects in Da Nang Software Park No. 2. Departments and agencies are also coordinating and developing specific plans to support and connect supply and demand between businesses, investors, and training institutions.

Support and implement activities to connect large enterprises and corporations with small and medium-sized enterprises and startups to enhance the semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystem in the city.

The relevant units continue to accelerate the construction progress of the ICT2 and ICT3 buildings, and complete other infrastructure of Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

According to information presented at the meeting, in 2025, the city will continue to cooperate with domestic and foreign businesses and training institutions to implement many training programs for lecturers and students.

Regarding infrastructure, the city will invest in and put into operation three research labs for training purposes in Da Nang Software Park No. 2; implement and complete phase 2 of Software Park No. 2; and call for investment in infrastructure development to support research projects in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence fields.
