Early implementation of resolutions in the field of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence

DNO - On the afternoon of February 3, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh worked with departments, branches and sectors on implementing policies according to Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolutions No. 57/2024/NQ-HDND, 58/2024/NQ-HDND, 59/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council related to the development of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in the city.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested departments, branches and sectors to review and advise on supplementing specific policies in the fields of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence that have not yet been stipulated in Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 and 3 resolutions of the City People's Council;

Reviewing support for premises for startup projects in Da Nang Software Park No. 2. Departments, branches and sectors also coordinate and have specific plans for support, connecting supply and demand between businesses, investors and training facilities.

Support and implement connection activities between large enterprises and corporations with small and medium enterprises and startups to enhance the semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystem in the city.

Relevant units continue to promote the construction progress of ICT2 and ICT3 buildings and complete other infrastructure of Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

Information at the working session, in 2025, the city will continue to coordinate with domestic and foreign enterprises and training institutions to implement many training programs for lecturers and students.

Regarding infrastructure, the city will invest in and put into use 3 research rooms (labs) serving training in Da Nang Software Park No. 2; deploy investment to complete phase 2 of Software Park No. 2; call for investment in building infrastructure to support research projects in the fields of semiconductors and artificial intelligence.
