Son La: Prosecution of subjects organizing illegal entry and exit

NDO - On April 26, the Investigation Security Agency, Son La Provincial Police, announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Trang A Va, born in 1984, residing in Phieng Cai village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau town, Son La province, for the crime of "Organizing illegal exit and entry for others" under Article 348 of the Penal Code.

Previously, on April 17, in Long Sap commune, Moc Chau town, Son La province, the joint force including the Immigration Management Department, Son La Provincial Police and the Northern Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force caught Trang A Va red-handed while organizing for two citizens residing in Nam Dinh to cross the border to Laos.

The purpose of Trang A Va is to organize for the above 2 citizens to cross the border to Laos to celebrate BunPiMay, receiving a commission of 1.5 million VND. The evidence seized by the authorities includes a motorbike, two mobile phones and 1.5 million VND.

Son La Provincial Police recommends that people, especially those in border areas, when entering and exiting the country must fully comply with legal regulations, carry out procedures at Border Guard Stations, Border Guard Stations, and Customs at border gates, and not arbitrarily cross trails or openings to avoid violating the law.

The case is currently under investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
