Son La: Suspect charged for organizing illegal entry and exit.

NDO - On April 26, the Security Investigation Agency of the Son La Provincial Police announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute and a temporary detention order against Trang A Va, born in 1984, residing in Phieng Cai village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau town, Son La province, for the crime of "Organizing illegal exit and entry for others" under Article 348 of the Penal Code.

Earlier, on April 17th, in Long Sap commune, Moc Chau town, Son La province, a joint task force including the Immigration Management Department, Son La Provincial Police, and the Northern Anti-Drug and Crime Task Force caught Trang A Va red-handed while he was organizing the illegal border crossing into Laos for two citizens residing in Nam Dinh .

The purpose of Trang A Va's operation was to help two Vietnamese citizens cross the border into Laos to celebrate the BunPiMay New Year, receiving a commission of 1.5 million VND. The seized items included a motorbike, two mobile phones, and 1.5 million VND in cash.

The Son La Provincial Police Department urges citizens, especially those in border areas, to fully comply with legal regulations when entering or exiting the country, completing procedures at border guard posts, border guard stations, and customs offices, and to avoid crossing illegally via unofficial trails and openings to prevent violations of the law.

The case is currently under investigation and will be handled in accordance with the law.
