The mission of higher education institutions

One of the important tasks that Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation sets out for the system of higher education institutions in Vietnam is to develop a system of research and testing centers, key national laboratories, focusing on strategic technology.

At the same time, build a number of schools and advanced training centers specializing in artificial intelligence. Develop a team of lecturers and scientists with sufficient capacity and qualifications to teach basic science, semiconductor chip technology, microchips, engineering and key technologies; promote cooperation with prestigious foreign universities; strongly innovate training programs according to international standards, modernize training methods and apply advanced technology, especially artificial intelligence...

To carry out this task, recently, three major Vietnamese higher education institutions, namely Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, have signed a cooperation agreement to promote the potential and strengths of each institution in training talents, scientific research, technology transfer, innovation, digital transformation for the development of each party, contributing to the development of education, training and science and technology of the country. Some of the cooperation contents that these three higher education institutions focus on implementing are: training high-quality, highly qualified human resources; cooperation in core technology research, development of strategic technology products associated with attracting talents, attracting investment and cooperation of enterprises...

In Dong Nai , Dong Nai University of Technology has just held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robot Technology (AIBOT) to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 57 and open up opportunities for Dong Nai students to access artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technology in the near future. Previously, Lac Hong University put into use the Semiconductor Microcircuit Practice Room and organized the signing of cooperation agreements with many domestic and foreign partners to strongly develop modern training programs to meet the needs of high-quality human resources of the province.

This is a concrete step by higher education institutions in Dong Nai in putting Resolution 57 into practice, considering the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation as the top important breakthrough to bring the country to breakthrough development and prosperity.
