
In Ta Khoa commune, there is currently one central market, nearly 120 businesses, enterprises, cooperatives, and local markets. The main business sectors include general merchandise, clothing, household goods, food services; mechanical repair, car and motorbike repair; and trading of local agricultural products. The commune also has the Ban Phuc nickel mine project, a large-scale project by a foreign investor, which is expected to create additional demand for transportation, accommodation, food, supplies, goods, and various other services.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Khoa commune, said: To create favorable conditions for business households to develop, the commune regularly disseminates legal regulations on commercial and business activities; guides households in registering their businesses, declaring taxes, and complying with related regulations. Since the beginning of the year, the commune has organized more than 50 sessions to disseminate legal information to business households; and guided more than 110 households in completing procedures related to business activities.
In addition, the commune strengthened the management of commercial and service activities in the area; coordinated inspections of price listings, origin of goods, and food safety conditions at business establishments; and mobilized and organized 104 business households to sign commitments not to trade in counterfeit, substandard, or goods of unknown origin and to comply with food safety regulations. At the same time, the commune encouraged households to expand their business scale, diversify goods to meet the needs of the people; and develop types of services suitable to the local conditions, such as mechanical repair, agricultural machinery repair, agricultural supplies trading, transportation, and other services supporting production. Through inspections in the first six months of the year, no businesses trading in counterfeit or substandard goods or engaging in commercial fraud were detected in the commune.

Mr. Doan Ngoc Sinh's family grocery store in Phuc village has been operating for 15 years, specializing in providing essential goods for the daily needs of the local people. Mr. Sinh shared: "My family's store sells packaged food, beverages, confectionery, spices, and household goods. We usually import goods from reputable dealers and distributors inside and outside the province; all products have invoices, documents, labels, and clear origins. Throughout the business, we always prioritize proper storage of goods and regularly check expiration dates before delivering them to consumers. Thanks to this, the store has earned the trust of customers in the area."
In early 2025, the family of Mr. Lo Van Lien in Chen village opened a shop repairing agricultural machinery and equipment. Mr. Lien said: During the peak months at the beginning of the year, the number of customers coming for machinery repairs increased significantly, with revenue reaching over 20 million VND per month.
Furthermore, taking advantage of the lake's location, the people in the commune have developed waterway transportation services, with 10 passenger boats serving the travel needs of people living along the river. Since the beginning of the year, these vessels have transported nearly 2,000 passengers. The rich and diverse development of businesses and services has contributed to creating jobs for local laborers, with over 400 seasonal workers employed in shops, production facilities, and businesses, earning an average income of approximately 4 million VND/person/month, contributing to raising the commune's average income to over 40 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 2.59%.
To promote business and service development, Ta Khoa commune continues to create favorable conditions for households with business needs regarding business registration procedures and preferential loans; strengthens coordination with functional agencies in managing production and business activities, ensuring compliance with regulations; and supports households in expanding production and business scale and increasing income...
