Some electronic tax systems will be suspended for upgrading to meet the requirement of arranging tax agencies according to the two-tier local government model from July 1.

On the afternoon of June 26, the Tax Department announced that it would temporarily suspend some electronic tax systems for upgrading to meet the requirements of rearranging tax agencies according to the two-level local government model from July 1.

Accordingly, the Tax Department's website; Tax procedure service management application; E-commerce portal for information providing platforms will be temporarily suspended from 6:00 p.m. on June 27 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1;

Electronic information portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce and digital business; Electronic tax application (eTax); Electronic tax application for individuals (iCanhan); eTax Mobile application; Information portal serving information exchange with external units and organizations.

The electronic invoice application will be temporarily suspended from 0:00 to 3:00 on July 1.

The electronic portal for foreign suppliers is still operating normally.

The Tax Department said that the tax authority will continue to receive and handle tax administrative procedures directly, at the one-stop shop and by post during the process of upgrading and converting applications.

During the suspension period, the system may experience service interruptions. The processing and return of results may be delayed. The tax authority sincerely apologizes and hopes to receive taxpayers' understanding.
