On the afternoon of June 26, the Tax Department announced that it would temporarily suspend some electronic tax systems for upgrades to meet the requirements of restructuring tax agencies according to the two-tiered local government model from July 1.
Accordingly, operations will be temporarily suspended from 6 PM on June 27th to 8 AM on July 1st for the Tax Department's website; the application for managing tax procedure services; and the e-commerce portal for information providers.
Electronic portal for households and individuals engaged in e-commerce and digital business; Electronic tax application (eTax); Electronic tax application for individuals (iCanhan); eTax Mobile application; Portal for information exchange with external units and organizations.
The electronic invoicing application will be temporarily unavailable from 0:00 to 3:00 on July 1st.
The online portal for foreign suppliers remains operational.
The Tax Department stated that tax authorities will continue to receive and process tax administrative procedures in person, at the one-stop service center, and via postal service throughout the application upgrade and transition process.
During this temporary suspension, the system may experience service disruptions. Processing and results delivery may be delayed. The tax authorities sincerely apologize and appreciate the understanding of taxpayers.
