The Tax Department ( Ministry of Finance ) has just issued an urgent notice on the plan to temporarily suspend tax application systems to serve the relocation of the Tax Department's data center.

The Tax Department will move its main data center to a new location from May 23 to June 15. During this time, some tax applications will be temporarily suspended to serve the system conversion.
The downtime for converting application systems from the primary data center environment to the standby data center environment and vice versa is as follows:
Electronic invoice application: suspended for 4 hours, from 0 - 4 am on May 24 and from 0 - 4 am on June 14.
Electronic tax service application and transmission axis: suspended for 48 hours, from 6:00 p.m. on May 23 to 4:00 p.m. on May 25 and from 6:00 p.m. on June 13 to 4:00 p.m. on June 15.
The time the Tax Department's application system is operated at the backup data center (DRC) with performance reaching 70% compared to the main data center is as follows:
Electronic invoice application: from 4:00 a.m. on May 24 to 0:00 a.m. on June 14.
Application of electronic tax services and transmission axis: from 4:00 p.m. on May 25 to 6:00 p.m. on June 13.
The time for the Tax Department's application system to resume operation on the main data center with the electronic invoice application is from 4:00 a.m. on June 14; the electronic tax service application and transmission axis is from 4:00 p.m. on June 15.
During the system suspension period, taxpayers shall temporarily stop using the electronic invoice application and the electronic tax service application.
In which, the application of electronic tax services includes: electronic tax services for businesses (eTax); electronic tax services for individuals (iCanhan); electronic tax services on mobile devices (eTax Mobile); e-commerce portal; electronic portal for foreign suppliers; electronic tax services on the National Public Service Portal, the Ministry of Finance's Public Service Portal, and the provincial public service portal.
Previously, from 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17, the Tax Department also temporarily suspended a number of electronic tax systems to upgrade and convert categories.
Taxpayers continue to carry out tax administrative procedures (except electronic tax payment) on electronic tax channels, direct reception, postal services during the upgrading and conversion process...
