Previously, the railway industry organized to increase the operation of 52 more trains on the routes during this holiday. During the period from now until the holiday, passengers to/from Hue from the provinces and cities are not yet full, especially Hue traveling on short routes, such as Da Nang, Quang Nam , Phu Yen... tickets are still available; Hue traveling to Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, Phan Thiet, Ho Chi Minh City... tickets are almost sold out. The representative of the Hue Railway Transport leadership recommends that passengers who need to travel from Hue to the provinces after the holiday should register to buy early during this time, to avoid the case of buying late and there will be no more.

At Hue bus stations, although there is no specific plan yet, the unit also plans to increase trips, ensuring enough vehicles to serve the needs of passengers. According to Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Director of the Southern Bus Station of Hue City, the number of trips in and out of the station has not changed before the holiday, with an average of 70-80 trips per day from Hue to the southern provinces. However, it is hoped that the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year will be the longest holiday since the beginning of the year, so people's travel needs during this holiday will increase. In particular, on April 28, Hue City will open the 2023 Traditional Craft Festival, so more visitors will come to visit, learn about and explore the landscapes in Hue.

However, during the peak holiday, the number of arrivals/departures is expected to increase by 50% and 30% compared to the same period last year.

It is expected that during this holiday, Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport with a capacity of 5 million passengers/year; including 1 million international passengers will be put into operation. This is a favorable factor for Phu Bai International Airport to exploit and open new flight routes, especially from Hue to Southeast Asian countries...

According to information from Vietjet Air, from April 28 to May 4, the airline is expected to increase 70,000 seats on flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Pleiku... by 20% compared to usual. Along with that, international flights will also be increased and adjusted in frequency to create more convenience for people and tourists.

Vietnam Airlines will provide more than 550,000 seats (equivalent to nearly 2,800 flights) on domestic routes during the holiday. Checking the airline ticket system shows that after April 20, the Hue - Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi routes are still available.

Bamboo Airways is ready with optimal plans for its plan to operate at 100% capacity. It is expected to increase the supply of 25,000 seats/day on domestic routes. However, through a survey, airfares are also higher than usual, many flights are sold out, if there are any tickets left, the ticket prices are quite high and only business class is available.
