At the book launch on the morning of August 29

The 410-page work, compiled by many authors, was produced by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in collaboration with the family of comrade Hoang Anh. The book gathers many valuable documents, fully reflecting the life and career of him, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture, Deputy Minister of National Defense .

Born in Phong Dien (Thua Thien Hue, now Hue City), Mr. Hoang Anh joined the Viet Minh early, holding the role of Vice Chairman of the Uprising Committee to seize power in the August Revolution of 1945, then Chairman of the Administrative Committee of Thua Thien province, and a delegate of the 1st National Assembly. During more than 80 years of operation, he took on many important responsibilities of the Party and State, making great contributions to finance, agriculture , and national defense. With his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the Gold Star Order, the highest award of the Party and State.

The book also introduces many valuable images and documents about the times he met President Ho Chi Minh , worked with high-ranking leaders of the Party and State, and at the same time portrayed the steadfast and devoted qualities of a communist who devoted his whole life.

At the launch, Mr. Hoang Anh's family representative expressed his gratitude to the authors and Thuan Hoa Publishing House. Mr. Phan Cong Tuyen, former Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed his appreciation to the publishing house for printing many books about outstanding children of Hue such as President Le Duc Anh, General Nguyen Chi Thanh, poet To Huu..., helping the younger generation understand more about their homeland's traditions.

On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Duy To, Director of Thuan Hoa Publishing House, presented books to the Hue City Military Command, Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted and several localities in Phong Dien, Mr. Hoang Anh's hometown.
