At the 959 Economic-Defense Group, party member Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram is one of the typical faces. With a pioneering spirit and enthusiasm, she actively participates in propaganda, helping people eliminate backward customs, change the structure of crops and livestock, and apply science and technology in production. Many household economic models and production cooperatives that she has coordinated to implement have been highly appreciated by the people and local authorities.

Similarly, party member Le Thi Kieu My, a former student of economic law, currently working at Economic-Defense Group 915, has also constantly strived to promote a sense of responsibility in her work. In June 2024, she was admitted to the Party, becoming an exemplary member of the Party Cell of the Staff-Planning Department. The members of the Youth Union also stand out in tutoring weak students, organizing cultural-artistic activities, physical education and sports , contributing to improving the spiritual life of people in the project area. The close relationship between young intellectuals and the masses is nurtured through joint activities for the community.

Colonel Nguyen Xuan Huy, Political Commissar of Economic-Defense Group 915, said that the unit focuses on training young party members through practice, combined with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, creating positive changes in qualities, lifestyle and working style.

At the 959 Military Economic Group, the work of developing the Party is also carried out in accordance with strict procedures. The members introduced by the Party cell must be truly outstanding in the movement, with pioneering, exemplary and responsible qualities. Each year, the 959 Military Economic Group admits from 5 to 8 outstanding members into the Party, contributing to building a strong Party organization and strengthening the core political force in the locality.

After more than 10 years of implementing the Government's Project 174, the Youth Union Party members have contributed to changing the face of economic-defense zones and strengthening the great national unity bloc. Major General Quach Van Nho, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, emphasized that the achieved results are proof of the correctness of the policy of strengthening Youth Union, while affirming the role, strength and dedication of the youth in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
