In implementing the 2025 work program and the plan for activities during Youth Month 2025, and to practically celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), the Youth Union at all levels throughout the province has organized many training courses on awareness of the Youth Union with innovative, rich, and diverse forms and methods... From there, they have identified and selected outstanding young people and team members to be admitted as new members. A prime example is the recent solemn ceremony held by the Youth Union of Ward 5 (Bac Lieu City) to offer incense and admit 102 outstanding team members from the Youth Union branches of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School, and the Youth Union branches of Hamlet 3 and Hamlet 4 at the Mau Than 1968 Memorial Monument.

Raising awareness about the Youth Union and recruiting new members is not only a practical and meaningful activity that contributes to building a stronger Youth Union organization, but also creates opportunities for young people and members to mature in their studies, training, self-cultivation, and to contribute to the Youth Union's movements. The participants in these awareness-raising classes are outstanding young people and members from junior high schools and residential areas who have a good sense of learning and moral cultivation and aspire to join the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. During the classes, these outstanding young people and members received basic knowledge about the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union through documentaries, video clips, and vivid visual images, through learning about "red addresses" (historical sites), participating in practical experiences, and through physical games. Through these activities, young people clearly identify what they need to do and how to strive to join the ranks of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. During this year's Youth Month, many grassroots Youth Union branches in the province organized awareness classes about the Union for outstanding young people. For example, the Hoa Binh Town Youth Union branch (Hoa Binh district) organized an awareness class about the Union for 37 outstanding young people from the Hoa Binh Secondary School Youth Union; the Ward 8 Youth Union branch (Bac Lieu City) opened a Youth Union orientation class for 30 outstanding young people from Tran Van On Secondary School; and the Long Thanh Commune Youth Union branch (Vinh Loi district) organized a Youth Union orientation class for 41 outstanding young people with sufficient qualities, abilities, and revolutionary ideals…
Membership development plays a crucial role; therefore, the recruitment of new members is highly valued by grassroots Youth Union branches, ensuring that those admitted meet the required standards and uphold the pioneering and exemplary role of a Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union member. The recruitment process adheres to the guidelines for implementing the Youth Union Charter, and the ceremony must be organized according to regulations, creating a lasting impression on the newly admitted members and adapting to local conditions. Currently, the Youth Union organizes new member recruitment ceremonies in conjunction with historical sites and memorials to contribute to the education of revolutionary moral traditions and to inspire pride and a spirit of striving in each new member.
