Thai Binh ranked 15th nationwide in the PAPI index.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with relevant agencies, recently held a ceremony to announce the Provincial Public Administration and Governance Performance Index (PAPI) for 2024. According to the results, Thai Binh province achieved a total score of 44.7379, ranking 15th nationwide, an increase of 2 places compared to 2023 (43.7585 points).

PAPI is a tool that reflects the voice of the people regarding the effectiveness of state administration, management, policy implementation, and public service delivery. This index is conducted annually through the largest nationwide sociological survey.

In 2024, Thai Binh ranked first nationwide in the citizen accountability index, achieving 4.6101 points. Other indicators such as transparency in local government decisions; public service delivery; and efficiency of public administration and governance were also among the highest. This result demonstrates encouraging progress in governance and public service delivery at the local level. To achieve this success, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and various departments and localities have focused on directing and implementing a comprehensive range of solutions to improve governance efficiency, service quality, and citizen satisfaction.
