44 localities no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses.

According to the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, as of June 28, six more localities across the country have completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. This brings the total number of localities with no temporary or dilapidated houses to 44 out of 63, reaching a rate of nearly 70%.

The results of the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions show that by the end of June 28, 2025, 6 more localities have completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for all 3 groups of meritorious people, housing support from the National Target Program and housing support for poor and near-poor households from the launched program.

These are the localities: Bac Giang , Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Lam Dong, Quang Ngai and Lai Chau. Thereby, the total number of localities without temporary houses or dilapidated houses is 44/63 localities, reaching a rate of 69.8%.

As for the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched on October 5, 2024, to date, 49/63 localities have completed it, reaching a rate of 77.8%.

The Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions also said that according to the data reported by localities on the software updated up to June 28, 2025, the whole country has supported the elimination of 264,522 temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 229,328 houses were inaugurated and 35,194 houses were under construction or under construction.

Specifically, support 41,632 houses for people with revolutionary contributions; support 87,105 houses under 2 national target programs.

Along with that, 126,867 houses were supported under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Of these, 108,075 houses were inaugurated and 18,792 houses were under construction and under construction.
