In the past 24 hours, the whole city has had heavy to extremely heavy rain, concentrated in mountainous areas. Rainfall is generally 60-100mm in the plains and 100-300mm in the mountainous areas. It is forecasted that in the next 24-48 hours, Hue will continue to have heavy to very heavy rain, total rainfall in the plains can be 100-200mm, in high places over 300mm; in mountainous areas can be 200-350mm, in special places up to 500mm such as A Luoi, Nam Dong, Binh Dien, Khe Tre, Chan May - Lang Co...

From October 31 to November 1, heavy rain will continue, and the weather in early November is forecast to be complicated.

The meteorological agency warns of the risk of flash floods, landslides, and rock slides in mountainous areas and along rivers and streams, especially in the districts of A Luoi, Phong Dien, Nam Dong, and Phu Loc. Low-lying areas, downstream of the Huong River, Bo River, and the inner city of Hue may continue to be deeply flooded, cutting off traffic. In particular, extremely heavy rains of over 70mm/hour or 150mm/3 hours can cause widespread flooding in urban areas.

Authorities recommend that people do not go through areas with strong currents or flooded bridges, proactively stock up on necessities, closely monitor forecasts, and prepare plans to evacuate residents in dangerous areas to ensure safety of life and property.
