More than a century ago, coffee plants took root here following the footsteps of the French, and over the years, coffee beans have become more than just an agricultural product; they have become the soul of this sun-drenched, windswept land.

Magnificent artificial mountains

During our early spring trip, we visited Trung Nguyen Coffee Village in Tan Loi Ward. The space, approximately 2 hectares in size, offers a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere, harmoniously arranged with areas for tasting, dining , and exhibition.

These old houses, with their Quảng Nam-style architecture and meticulous carvings, create a feeling of intimacy yet maintain an air of elegance.

Coffee enjoyment space

What truly captivates visitors is the aroma of coffee that permeates the entire space. The rich, alluring scent permeates every sense.

Sitting amidst the lush greenery, sipping a rich cup of coffee, one can almost sense the taste of the basalt soil, the sunshine and wind, and the hard work of the growers embedded in each shimmering, dark drop.

The coffee village also offers a journey of discovery through the coffee bean, from planting to processing. Rare coffee varieties, ancient plantations, and old production tools are meticulously displayed, vividly recreating the working life of the people of the Central Highlands.

The local cultural space comes alive with Ede longhouses, gongs, farming tools, k'pan (a traditional musical instrument), and more. All of these elements add depth to the experience, allowing visitors to connect with the essence of the highlands. In addition, many world- renowned coffee styles, such as Italian, Turkish, and Ethiopian, are introduced, enriching the culinary journey.

Trung Nguyen Coffee Village is not only a destination but also a "living museum" of Vietnamese coffee culture. It contributes to bringing Vietnamese coffee beans further afield and affirming its position on the world map.

Leaving Buon Ma Thuot, the lingering taste of coffee remains on the tongue, a rich, deep flavor, like the warmth of the people and the red soil of the Central Highlands that will forever remain.
