Establish the Army Symphony Orchestra

On November 21st, in Hanoi, the Military University of Culture and Arts held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense on the establishment of the Military Symphony Orchestra (MSO).

Accordingly, the orchestra was established with a scale of 101 musicians, with a full range of string, woodwind, brass, percussion, and electronic instruments, equivalent to the model of large orchestras in Austria, France, and Germany. The Board of Directors includes Lieutenant Colonel, musician Do Bao (Director), Colonel, musician Nguyen An Hieu, and Major, singer Vu Thang Loi (Deputy Director).

Speaking at the launch ceremony, composer Do Bao said: "Entering a new stage of national development, symphonic music will continue to fulfill its mission of spreading positive cultural values ​​to a wide audience."
