On September 18, the leader of Co May Sa Dec Company Limited informed that Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang signed a decision and recognized the charter of Co May Social Fund, creating conditions for the unit to better support and help students and people in difficult circumstances in the province.
After nearly 10 years of establishment, Co May Dormitory has helped, supported free accommodation and covered tuition fees for more than 900 students nationwide studying at universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the establishment decision, the Co May Social Fund's headquarters is at No. 134, Nguyen Cu Trinh Street, Sa Dec Ward, Dong Thap. The Fund has 3 members in the Founding Board, including Mr. Pham Minh Thien, Director of Co May Sa Dec Company Limited; Mr. Pham Huu Hoan and Mr. Huynh Vo Nhat Huy.
The fund's activities aim to sponsor and help disadvantaged students in Dong Thap who are studying in and outside the province. At the same time, it helps poor households and families with difficult circumstances who are living and working in Dong Thap.
Co May Social Fund was formed from the initial contributions of the founders and increased its assets on the basis of mobilizing sponsorship and donations from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in accordance with the law to carry out activities according to the principles and purposes of the fund.
Students complete procedures to stay at Co May Dormitory on the campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.

Mr. Pham Minh Thien, Director of Co May Sa Dec Company Limited, is the youngest son of businessman Pham Van Ben - Owner of Co May Private Enterprise in Dong Thap. Before passing away in 2016, Mr. Ben invested in building Co May Dormitory with a capacity of 432 seats on the campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry to support free accommodation, living expenses and study for poor and excellent students nationwide studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
After nearly 10 years of establishment and operation, Co May Dormitory has supported more than 900 students and helped hundreds of dreams of escaping poverty through education.
In addition, when working at Co May Sa Dec Company, workers' children are supported by the company with tuition fees and scholarships until they graduate from university.
