The red flags fluttering throughout the streets seem to instill confidence and enthusiasm for a new phase of development in Dong Nai.
In particular, the presence of General Secretary and President To Lam, along with the major directions set for Dong Nai, not only demonstrates the deep concern of the Central Government but also strongly inspires the aspirations of the local Party committee, government, and people to strive for progress.
With the red flag still shining brightly on many streets these days, Dong Nai is embarking on a new journey with the faith, aspirations, and competitive spirit of a young city that is rapidly rising.
From that significant milestone, Dong Nai today is embarking on a new journey with renewed vigor and spirit. In administrative centers, officials and civil servants immediately begin their work with urgency and responsibility; on transportation projects, schools, and public infrastructure, the atmosphere of labor is vibrant. In residential areas, people actively participate in maintaining environmental hygiene, beautifying urban areas, and building a civilized lifestyle…
As a locality rich in revolutionary traditions, dynamic in industrial development and integration, Dong Nai is facing a great opportunity to make a strong breakthrough in its future development. Not only does it have a new appearance, but Dong Nai also brings with it new demands regarding development thinking, a spirit of innovation, and a responsibility to serve the people even better.
At the ceremony announcing the National Assembly's resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City, Comrade Vu Hong Van, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the Dong Nai City National Assembly Delegation, emphasized: The City Party Committee is determined to transform aspirations into action, potential into driving force, and advantages into strength for development; to build a team of cadres with sufficient courage, intelligence, and a spirit of innovation, who dare to think and dare to act, to work together with the whole country to realize the aspiration for a prosperous and happy nation. At the same time, the city will fulfill the advice of the General Secretary and President: "Unity is the truth of all times."
That spirit is also spreading strongly among all strata of the population. Hero of the People's Armed Forces Luong Van Xuan (in Long Phuoc commune) shared his joy and pride when Dong Nai became a city: "Not only me, but the entire army and people are very happy and excited about this new stage of development for our homeland."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Man, Principal of Bao Quang Secondary School (in Bao Vinh ward), also expressed her pride in attending the Ceremony to Announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the Establishment of Dong Nai City. She hopes that Dong Nai City will continue to develop even more strongly so that the lives of its people will be increasingly improved both materially and spiritually.

In Loc Ninh ward, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee Nguyen Thi Nghia said: The locality has identified accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital as a key political task to promote socio-economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance people's lives. Accordingly, the ward focuses on reviewing the effectiveness of each project, prioritizing essential works; at the same time, it accelerates land clearance and mobilizes resources to implement transportation, education, and essential social projects to serve the people.
Following its milestone of becoming a city, Dong Nai is gradually transforming with an increasingly modern urban landscape, a more favorable investment environment, and a streamlined, more effective and efficient government apparatus operating under a two-tiered local government model. The current competitive spirit is not only a response to a major event but is also becoming a driving force for the entire city to accelerate development, aiming to build a dynamic, modern, and livable urban center.
The expectations for Dong Nai city were also emphasized by General Secretary and President To Lam at the announcement ceremony: Dong Nai must set itself to higher development standards, striving to become a dynamic urban center with high competitiveness and a significant influence on the Southeast region and the whole country; striving to become a livable and entrepreneurial city in Asia and the world. To achieve that vision, every official, Party member, citizen, and business needs to work together to make the city more developed, more civilized, brighter, greener, cleaner, more livable, and contribute more to the country.
The newly opened city marks a new chapter in the history of Dong Nai. From the pride felt on the day of its inauguration to the enthusiastic spirit of competition today, Dong Nai is undergoing a powerful transformation, writing new chapters with a spirit of innovation and creativity, and a desire to build a civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland.
