To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), Thanh Hoa City organized many propaganda activities to honor the glorious historical values ​​and express profound gratitude to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Nguyen Hoang Boulevard was adorned with vibrant red flags and propaganda slogans.

Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company has planted 2,000 red flags and clusters of red flags along Ba Trieu, Quang Trung, Tran Phu, Ha Van Mao, Nguyen Hoang, Le Loi Boulevard and around incense offering sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area, the Temple of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Martyrs, the Memorial Area for Teachers and Students at the Ma River dike, and the Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery.

Many expired propaganda billboards on Le Loi Boulevard were replaced with content commemorating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

In addition to visual propaganda, the City's Center for Culture, Information, Sports , and Tourism has increased the broadcast time on radio and television, and opened a special section to commend exemplary individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; and replaced the content of propaganda billboards along Nguyen Hoang Boulevard. At the same time, it organized cultural and sports activities to create an atmosphere of enthusiasm, encouraging and motivating city officials and citizens to resolutely achieve the set goals and tasks.

The Ham Rong Martyrs' Cemetery is ablaze with red flags in front of its entrance gate.

The People's Committees of wards and communes also intensified propaganda through mass media to educate the people about patriotic traditions and announced that the people, agencies, units, and cultural centers in streets and villages would simultaneously display the national flag on September 2-3, 2024.
