In his opening remarks, Mr. Jordi Llorens Carratala, Representative of the Spanish Embassy in Vietnam, emphasized that the "Igniting Passion" event aims to inspire a love of learning, nurture passion, and encourage perseverance in pursuing dreams in science and engineering among students.

The event included an interactive program titled "Science - A Journey Without Limits" between students and special guest Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, the only female scientist from Vietnam selected for the Young Affiliates list (2024-2029) of the World Academy of Sciences.

Also at the event, the exhibition "Escape Road - The Journey to Discovering Future Nobel Prize-Winning Scientists" was inaugurated. The exhibition showcases the scientific exploration and contributions to society from the award-winning research of 26 female scientists worldwide who have won Nobel, Abel, and Fields Medals.
Each person has a different journey into science, researching in different fields, but they all share a common passion and dedication to science in order to build a better world. Their inventions are not only groundbreaking but also play a crucial role in practical life in fields ranging from medicine (treating HIV, cancer, malaria), biotechnology (CRISPR-Cas9), quantum physics, lasers, to the molecular structure of life.
The exhibition conveys a powerful message: On the journey to conquering science, the limits are not determined by gender, but by belief and passion. Anyone can become a creator of knowledge if they have enough passion and aspiration .

Nguyen Thuy Tien (Class 7H1, Trung Vuong Secondary School) excitedly shared: "I am very happy to participate in this event, especially to have the opportunity to interact with Doctor Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao. Dr. Thao's story motivates me to pursue my dreams in the future."
The event also included hands-on science activities showcasing STEM-based products created by students from the STEM Club of Trung Vuong School.

Following its event at Trung Vuong Secondary School, the "Ignite Your Passion" event will continue on September 29th. At Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School (Cau Giay, Hanoi) , students will have the opportunity to interact with Dr. Do Tuyet Mai, one of the pioneering scientists in building and developing comprehensive, multidisciplinary, community-based healthcare models that optimize resources in Vietnam.
