Over the past period, leading up to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Hue (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025), the Youth Union at all levels has implemented many practical and meaningful activities such as: Journeys to historical sites; Building and repairing houses of gratitude; Visiting and caring for families of wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries; Participating in the renovation and repair of memorials and martyrs' cemeteries…
Each small action reflects the feelings and responsibilities of young people. This is not only an expression of gratitude from the present generation to the previous generation, but also an opportunity for young people to relearn invaluable historical lessons, to be reminded, and to be given renewed strength and spirit to confidently move forward, becoming more mature in both awareness and action.

Following the candle-lighting ceremony, the "Gratitude and Aspiration" art program was held, featuring timeless songs such as "The Country on the Edge of the Waves," "The Calm River," "The Song of Truong Son," and "The Unknown Heroes," performed by a collective of artists, actors, and youth union members from Hue City. The program served as a profound expression of gratitude through art to the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries, and those who contributed to the revolution in the struggle for national liberation, building, and defending the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the Hue City Youth Union presented reconstructed portraits of a Vietnamese Heroic Mother and four martyrs to their relatives. They also provided 25 gift packages to families with meritorious service to the revolution.
