Following the conclusion of the foreign language exam this afternoon, June 10th, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced that, overall, the exam at all testing locations across the city proceeded safely and seriously. Most candidates followed the exam regulations correctly, and no invigilators violated the regulations. However, three additional candidates were disqualified from the exam.

The entire city has 201 examination centers with 4,477 examination rooms (non-specialized), in addition to 402 reserve examination rooms. The number of officials, teachers, and staff present was 15,368 out of 15,369, accounting for 99.99% (one invigilator was sick and was replaced by a reserve teacher to ensure compliance with examination regulations).
The number of candidates who took the exam was 115,042 out of 115,651, achieving a participation rate of 99.5%; 609 candidates were absent. Among the candidates who took the exam, only 3 violated the regulations and were suspended from the exam (due to being caught bringing mobile phones into the exam room).
As Thanh Nien Newspaper reported, this morning, candidates took the first exam, Literature. For this first exam, two candidates violated the exam regulations. One candidate brought a mobile phone into the exam room, and the other brought unauthorized materials. Therefore, a total of five candidates violated the exam regulations today.
After two exam sessions, both the candidates and the relevant subject teachers commented that the exam questions were of appropriate difficulty. For the Literature exam, the most common score range was likely 6-7, with many scores of 8, but a perfect 10 was unlikely. As for the English exam, students could easily achieve scores of 7-8. A perfect 10 this year was also not too difficult to achieve.
Tomorrow, June 11th, candidates will take the mathematics exam.
