Another Chinese airline connects flights to Noi Bai

On July 1 and 2, Spring Airlines (China) officially opened two regular round-trip international commercial flights between Shanghai, Ningbo and Hanoi.

According to information from Noi Bai International Airport, Spring Airlines is the first airline to connect Ningbo via Ningbo Lishe International Airport with Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi . This new route is operated with a frequency of 3 flights/week using Airbus 320 aircraft. The Ningbo - Hanoi route is on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and the Hanoi - Ningbo route is on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight time is only about 3 hours and 25 minutes, significantly shortened compared to the previous journey of having to transfer via Shanghai or Guangzhou.

The inaugural flight was welcomed by Noi Bai International Airport with a solemn water cannon ceremony.

The new route from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Noi Bai International Airport was launched on July 2, 2025 with an estimated flight time of nearly 4 hours. The Shanghai - Hanoi route is operated with a frequency of 4 flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while the Hanoi - Shanghai route is also operated with a frequency of 4 flights per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. With such flight frequency, it has brought convenience and attractive options to passengers.

As of early July 2025, along with Spring Airlines, there have been a total of 6 new international airlines opening routes at Noi Bai this year, including: AirAsia Cambodia, 9 Air, Xiamen Airlines, Lucky Air, Chengdu Airlines and Spring Airlines.
