On the morning of April 3rd, Dien Hong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work in 2025 and launch the patriotic emulation movement for 2026.
Eliminate the practice of shirking and avoiding responsibility.
Launching the emulation movement, Chairman of the Dien Hong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Truong Son requested the entire ward to focus on effectively implementing the contents according to the year's theme. This includes promoting democracy, listening to the people, caring for social welfare, improving living standards, and effectively mobilizing the people's strength in socio -economic development.
We must resolutely overcome the tendency to shirk and avoid responsibility. Work efficiency and citizen satisfaction should be the primary criteria for evaluating the performance of each official and civil servant.

Leaders of Dien Hong ward presented Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to collectives and individuals.
Every official and public employee must "respect the people, be close to the people, understand the people, learn from the people, and be responsible to the people." We are determined to maintain political security and social order, creating a peaceful, happy, and livable environment for every citizen in the ward.
The real value doesn't lie in certificates of merit.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Van Minh, City Party Committee member and Secretary of the Dien Hong Ward Party Committee, emphasized that in the coming period, it is necessary to strengthen the leadership of the Party committees over patriotic emulation activities and movements.
Mr. Le Van Minh suggested that the entire ward should unify its perspective and understanding of patriotic emulation. "Emulation is not about petty competition, comparison, or jealousy over every little detail. Emulation is also not about achieving high results at all costs, nor is it the ultimate and highest goal to be achieved while forgetting one's duties and responsibilities," Mr. Le Van Minh noted.

Le Van Minh, Secretary of the Dien Hong Ward Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.
The Secretary of the Dien Hong Ward Party Committee emphasized that the genuine and lasting value demonstrated by each collective and individual is for those around them to recognize and appreciate, and for superiors to acknowledge and reward.
"Each individual and group must feel the true value of themselves, not through the glitz and glamour of certificates, awards, and prizes from this competition or that movement," said Mr. Le Van Minh.
There is a need for strong innovation in the content and methods of organizing movements, focusing on practicality, effectiveness, and key priorities, and linking them to the political tasks of each agency and unit.

Dien Hong Ward awarded many individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.
"Timely recognition and rewarding of outstanding collectives and individuals will create a ripple effect in society. The collectives and individuals being honored must be truly exemplary, demonstrating kindness, honesty, integrity, and simplicity in everyday life, earning the respect and recognition of everyone," Mr. Le Van Minh emphasized.
