According to the regulations, candidates are allowed to bring into the examination room items such as pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, set squares, drawing tools, and handheld calculators without text editing functions or memory cards.

Candidates enter the examination center at Vo Truong Toan Secondary School (Saigon Ward).
Prohibited items in the examination room include documents, information transmission and reception devices, audio and video recording devices, carbon paper, correction fluid, alcoholic beverages, and any items that could be used to cheat or compromise safety.
Before the exam, candidates must fill in their personal information and registration number on all relevant documents; they should also carefully check the exam paper for the number of pages, print quality, and exam code.
If any errors are discovered, candidates must immediately report them to the invigilator within 5 minutes of the start of the exam.

The exam support team from the University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology is preparing gifts to support candidates before the exam at the Le Quy Don High School exam site (Xuan Hoa ward).
The math exam is conducted on a multiple-choice answer sheet. Candidates should only use a pencil to mark their registration number, test code, and answer options; if any corrections are needed, the previously marked boxes must be erased.

Candidates with special circumstances received support from volunteers on the afternoon of June 11th at the exam site at Le Quy Don High School (Xuan Hoa ward).
Notably, unlike the Literature exam, candidates taking the Mathematics exam are not allowed to submit their papers or leave the examination room before the end of the exam time. When the signal to end is given, candidates must submit their multiple-choice answer sheets and sign the submission form as required.
In Da Nang this afternoon, over 34,900 candidates completed the mathematics exam in the 2026 high school graduation exam. Many candidates assessed the exam questions as closely following the curriculum, having a reasonable differentiation, and meeting both the goals of graduation assessment and university entrance.
Candidate Nguyen Thi Tam Nhu, a student from Nguyen Hien High School, said that this year's exam was of moderate difficulty. According to the female student, if candidates have a solid grasp of basic knowledge, they can completely complete the exam.
Tam Nhu commented that the true/false questions were relatively "easy," while the short answer section was the most challenging. "This section requires candidates to have solid knowledge and good problem-solving skills," Tam Nhu said. With her aspiration to apply to the D01 group, the female student predicts she will score around 6 points in mathematics.
Candidate Tram Nam Tung, a student from Phan Chau Trinh High School, believes this year's exam was more difficult than last year's and focused more on 12th-grade knowledge. According to Tung, unlike some years where difficult questions were from the 10th-grade curriculum, this year's exam delved deeper into the knowledge required in the final year of high school.
However, the male student appreciated the way the practical problems were constructed with clear and easy-to-understand language, helping candidates quickly grasp the requirements of the questions. Even so, there were still questions that required logical thinking and the ability to find optimal solutions.
"There are some questions that can be solved immediately upon reading them, but there are also questions where the requirements are clear but it's still difficult to find an effective solution. For example, a type of question that asks to arrange numbers into rows and columns; the question is very easy to understand, but finding all the options that satisfy the conditions is not simple," Tùng shared.
Many candidates also believe that the exam had good differentiation. Students with average academic ability, if they studied thoroughly, could still achieve around 5 points to meet the graduation requirements; while the application and high-level application questions were capable of differentiating candidates for university admissions.
According to the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, in the mathematics exam held on the afternoon of June 11th, 34,959 out of 35,144 candidates participated, achieving a participation rate of 99.47%; 185 candidates were absent (including those exempted from the exam). No violations of regulations were recorded during this exam session.
The Da Nang Department of Education and Training stated that the invigilation process on the first day of the exam went safely and seriously, with no invigilators or supervisors violating regulations, and no incidents related to exam papers. The examination board also piloted the use of handheld security screening devices at 14 examination sites to enhance control and prevent cheating.
