The event attracted a large number of locals and tourists to Thanh My Stadium (Nam Giang district).

According to the leaders of the Nam Giang District People's Committee, this event is not only to honor and preserve unique cultural values but also an opportunity to promote the image of Nam Giang to a large number of tourists.

The gong performance was presented by talented artisans from many generations of ethnic minorities such as the Co Tu, Ve, Ta Rieng, etc.

The resonant, majestic sound of gongs and drums seems to recreate mystical stories and epic poems of the mountains and forests. The rhythm of the gongs and drums is sometimes powerful and majestic, sometimes gentle and profound, deeply imbued with the spiritual culture and customs of the local people. Each gong and drum beat is not just sound, but also the voice and feelings of the highlanders, expressing their pride in their traditional cultural heritage.

Besides the gong performance, traditional rituals were also a highlight of the event. Rituals such as the land-worshiping ceremony for village establishment, the new rice harvest festival, and traditional wedding ceremonies were vividly and authentically recreated. The artisans and village elders, dressed in colorful traditional costumes and using meticulously crafted props made from bamboo, rattan, and wood, provided the audience with a truly unique and memorable experience.

The dances, folk songs, and prayers all embody the philosophy of life, beliefs, and dreams of the people in the highlands, reflecting their connection with nature and gratitude to their ancestors.

Bhling Thi Dieu (a young member of the Zuôih commune's performing troupe) shared that, participating in this "Echoes of the Gong" festival, the Zuôih commune troupe had diligently practiced for a long time to be able to perform the gong dance and the land-worshiping ritual of the indigenous Co Tu people.

"Most of the performers from Zuôih commune are young people, taught and guided by artisans and village elders to be able to recreate the Tâng Tung - Da Dá dance and the worship rituals as accurately as possible. This event is not just about performances, but also opens up a space for exchange and learning between ethnic groups, between artisans and the audience. Stories about life, culture, and valuable experiences in preserving and promoting cultural heritage are shared and spread, creating a warm, friendly and meaningful atmosphere," - Bhling Thị Diều confided.

Through the gong performance and traditional rituals, the People's Committee of Nam Giang district hopes to convey and promote the unique cultural beauty of the ethnic groups; and at the same time send a message about unity and harmony among ethnic groups. This is a vivid testament to the richness and diversity of the traditional culture of ethnic minorities, and a source of pride for every citizen of Nam Giang.
