The painting competition attracted 105 students from primary and secondary schools in the commune. With the theme "Uncle Ho in my heart," the students completed their paintings within 120 minutes on A3 paper using their own chosen paints.
The highlight of the competition is its outdoor setting, under the cool shade of trees, within the grounds of the Park and Memorial House of Heroine and Martyr Vo Thi Sau.
In this historically significant setting, the children were engrossed in each painting, carefully crafting each brushstroke with all the love and respect they had for President Ho Chi Minh.

Through their innocent and lively drawings, the children expressed images of President Ho Chi Minh according to their own perceptions: images of President Ho Chi Minh's loving relationship with teenagers and children, or simple, intimate, and endearing everyday moments of his life...
Besides the painting competition, the Community Service Center also launched a writing competition on the theme "Journey to the Roots - Proud of the Homeland's Traditions" for students participating in the extracurricular program "Returning to the Roots - Learning - Experiencing" at Lang Dai 1 Primary School, Vo Thi Sau and Nguyen Thi Hoa Primary Schools, and Lang Dai Secondary School.

The Organizing Committee is expected to hold the closing ceremony and award presentation on the evening of May 19th at the park and memorial house of Heroine and Martyr Vo Thi Sau.
The program aims to educate young people about revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism, national pride, and love for their homeland. It also provides a beneficial platform to develop students' artistic and writing talents, while contributing to the preservation and promotion of local historical and cultural values.
