Beyond combining travel and music , the program delves into the experiences of tourists traveling abroad under limited conditions, creating unforgettable "flavors."

What would it be like to be "kidnapped" onto a plane for a vacation ? How would you manage with only a small amount of money in your pocket in a foreign land? How would you fit in with unfamiliar fellow travelers? Placed in the most realistic situations, the everyday personalities of the artists will be revealed most clearly. The 15 episodes chronicle the journey of fun, laughter, and tears as they struggle to make ends meet with a limited budget.

The age and life experience differences among the five members are both a barrier and an advantage, allowing them to overcome obstacles and connect with each other. The process of harmonizing the characters' varying ages and personalities is precisely what the program aims to portray.

The Forest Studio production company expects the reality show "The Taste of Journeys" to be as successful as the television program "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Again." Similarly, in the program "The Flavors of Journeys," the key element is that a seemingly disparate group, with no one connected to anyone else, connects and integrates like "a group of friends without distance or generational barriers," which attracts viewers.

However, experts believe that foreign game shows are dominating the airwaves with tens of millions of views per episode, such as "2 Days 1 Night," "The Masked Singer," "The Ultimate Survival Challenge," and "The Great Weekend," but maintaining their popularity for subsequent seasons is not an easy task.

A common characteristic of all current shows is that they are "hot in season 1" and gradually lose momentum in subsequent seasons. A clear example is Rap Viet, which exploded in popularity in season 1 but then cooled down in subsequent seasons. This is completely understandable because producing foreign game shows is very expensive, but according to many production companies, finding sponsors, especially at the present time, is very difficult.

According to insiders, the dominance of foreign game shows is an opportunity for domestic shows to re-evaluate themselves, and a chance for Vietnamese producers to strive to create purely Vietnamese game shows that are appealing to viewers.
