Develop integrated infrastructure.

Visiting Thoi Son ward during the days when the whole country was enthusiastically competing to achieve accomplishments to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, it was easy to notice the vibrant and joyful atmosphere of the local people. Many new transportation projects have been invested in and built; roads have been renovated and upgraded to modern standards; sidewalks are paved with clean, spacious stone; and the green spaces are arranged aesthetically...

Walking along Tra Su Street, adorned with the vibrant red of the national flag, Mr. Le Thanh Vu, a local resident, expressed: “At this time, many roads in the ward are being upgraded and expanded, creating favorable conditions for the development of local transportation. For us residents, this is a positive sign for new beginnings, building a better and higher-quality life.”

Aiming to build a civilized urban area, Thoi Son ward focuses on urban beautification and the development of a civilized lifestyle. Main arterial roads are being renovated and upgraded comprehensively; the system of trees, signs, drainage, and environmental sanitation is being improved. The local government also mobilized social resources to install 66 solar-powered streetlights along the southern section of National Highway 91, the Ly Thi Cam residential area, and Lam Vo road, with a total cost of nearly 300 million VND…

In Thoi Son ward, there are currently four projects under the investment of the Provincial Project Management Board: the upgrading project of Provincial Road 948, phase 2; and projects to improve traffic and urban infrastructure such as: upgrading and renovating Son Dong road (nearly 1.1km), Le Hong Phong road (275m long), and constructing a drainage ditch on Hoa Hung road (345m long), with a total cost of over 14.7 billion VND. In addition, there are projects to renovate, build, and put into service 84 classrooms, 99 clean water facilities, and 67 toilets… These are key projects that promote socio -economic development, helping to change the urban landscape and living environment for the people.

Digital infrastructure is identified as a crucial pillar in urban management and operation. The People's Committee of Thoi Son Ward focuses on developing information technology infrastructure to serve management, direction, and operation in an online environment. At the same time, it guides and supports people in using cashless payment services in transactions related to commerce, services, healthcare, and education , creating momentum for the development of the digital economy, digital society, and facilitating the digital transformation process.

Standards of a civilized city

According to Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Thoi Son Ward People's Committee, the locality will focus on strengthening urban development and creating momentum for socio-economic development along the East-West corridor. The ward will prioritize three projects under the 5-year public investment plan (2026-2030): the project to upgrade and expand the drainage system and sidewalks on Dinh Street; the project to upgrade the drainage system on Lam Vo Street; and the project to renovate the park in the welcome gate area (phase 2). Simultaneously, they will prepare investment documents for the drainage system and sidewalk project on Bau Muop Street (section 1 from the gate of the Ba Chua Xu Bau Muop temple to the intersection with Son Dong Street).

The People's Committee of Thoi Son Ward will adjust the general urban planning for the Tinh Bien - Thoi Son inter-ward area; continue to implement urban beautification projects, allocate capital to invest in public lighting systems, actively maintain parks and green spaces, ensure urban environmental hygiene, and create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape; strengthen post-construction permit inspections; and effectively manage and handle construction and urban order issues.

In developing digital infrastructure, the locality continues to enhance the activities of community-based digital transformation technology groups, promote the "Digital Literacy Movement"; and actively implement tasks and contents according to the breakthrough plan for science and technology development. At the same time, innovation and digital transformation are focused primarily on the fields of education, healthcare, commerce, services, agriculture , etc.

With the synchronized implementation of solutions for developing transportation, urban, and digital infrastructure, a new urban space will be shaped; inter-city connectivity will be established… creating a foundation for the rapid development of services, tourism, and trade in Thoi Son ward.
