Ukraine's capital was hit by a missile attack.

Ukrainian media quoted Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko as saying that numerous explosions were heard throughout the Ukrainian capital in the early morning of June 2nd, as the city was rocked by a missile attack. Local authorities urged residents to seek shelter.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko also said that air defenses had been activated in response to the airstrike. Initial reports indicated that a 24-story building caught fire after being hit by missiles, and at least two people were injured in the attack.
