According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on November 27th, a cold front affected most areas in the Central region of Vietnam. The Gulf of Tonkin experienced strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8.
On land, on November 27th, the cold air mass continued to affect the central part of Vietnam. Northeast winds inland reached levels 3-4, and levels 4-5 along the coast. Northern and North Central Vietnam experienced cold weather. The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in Northern and North Central Vietnam were generally 16-18°C, 12-14°C in mountainous areas, and below 10°C in high mountainous regions. Hanoi also experienced cold weather, with the lowest temperatures generally ranging from 16-18°C.
