The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will generally range from 16-18 degrees Celsius; Hanoi will experience cold weather, with the lowest temperatures generally ranging from 16-18 degrees Celsius.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, on November 27th, a cold front affected most areas in the Central region of Vietnam. The Gulf of Tonkin experienced strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8.

On land, on November 27th, the cold air mass continued to affect the central part of Vietnam. Northeast winds inland reached levels 3-4, and levels 4-5 along the coast. Northern and North Central Vietnam experienced cold weather. The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in Northern and North Central Vietnam were generally 16-18°C, 12-14°C in mountainous areas, and below 10°C in high mountainous regions. Hanoi also experienced cold weather, with the lowest temperatures generally ranging from 16-18°C.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin will experience strong northeasterly winds of force 6, gusting to force 7-8, with rough seas and waves 2-3.5m high; the northern South China Sea (including the Hoang Sa Islands) will have strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9, with very rough seas and waves 2-5m high. The sea area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan and the northern part of the central South China Sea will have strong northeasterly winds of force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8, with very rough seas and waves 2-4m high.

Due to the influence of a cold front, moderate to heavy rain is expected in the northern and central parts of Vietnam, with very heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

Regarding rainfall, from 1 AM on November 26th to 1 AM on November 27th, moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain, occurred in the provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and from Thua Thien-Hue to Quang Ngai, such as: Ky Son (Ha Tinh) 145.2mm; Viet Trung (Quang Binh) 243.8mm; Xuan Loc (Thua Thien-Hue) 366.2mm; Ba Na ( Da Nang ) 155mm; Ho Nuoc Ron (Quang Nam) 241mm; Tra Nham (Quang Ngai) 113mm... Soil moisture models show that some areas in these provinces are near saturation (over 85%) or have reached saturation.

On the morning of November 27th, the aforementioned provinces continued to experience rain, with accumulated rainfall amounts generally as follows: Ha Tinh from 10-20mm, with some areas exceeding 40mm; Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue to Quang Ngai from 20-40mm, with some areas exceeding 70mm. Experts warned of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on slopes in many areas of these localities. The risk of natural disasters due to flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence caused by rain or runoff is level 1.

Weather forecast for day and night of November 27th: Northwestern Vietnam will be cloudy with scattered rain; light winds; cold weather, especially in Lai Chau and Dien Bien. Lowest temperatures will be 15-18°C, with some areas below 14°C. Highest temperatures will be 20-23°C, except for Lai Chau and Dien Bien where it will be 24-27°C.

The northeastern region of Vietnam will be cloudy with scattered rain. Northeast winds will be at level 3-4, level 4-5 in coastal areas; it will be cold. The lowest temperature will be 16-18 degrees Celsius, 14-16 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and below 10 degrees Celsius in high mountainous areas. The highest temperature will be 19-22 degrees Celsius.

Northeast winds will be at level 3. The lowest temperature will be 22-25 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 26-29 degrees Celsius in the North and 30-33 degrees Celsius in the South.

The Central Highlands region will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 19-22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 27-30 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 23-26 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 30-33 degrees Celsius.
