From the night of January 10, the cold air continued to strengthen and affect other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions, and some places in the South Central region. Northeast winds inland gradually increased to level 2-3, and coastal areas to level 3-4.

In the North, North Central and Central Central regions, the weather continues to be cold. In the mountainous and midland regions of the North, it is very cold, with some places experiencing severe cold. In high mountainous areas, there is a possibility of frost and frost.

From the night of January 9, the sea area west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa) and the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, and waves 2-4.5m high.

From the afternoon to the night of January 9, the Northeast wind in Bac Bo Gulf gradually increased to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves from 1.5-3.5m high.

Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.

Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; landslides on steep slopes. Strong winds and large waves at sea may affect boating and other activities.
