Cybercrime Prevention - the Frontline of the Hanoi Convention

The Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention) does not just focus on dealing with violations, but also places emphasis on prevention – considering this as the front line of cybersecurity. This is a progressive and humane way of thinking: instead of just reacting after an incident occurs, the Convention aims to build a safe and healthy digital environment from the beginning.

In the spirit of the Convention, prevention cannot be the sole responsibility of state agencies. It is a shared responsibility of the entire society – from the government , businesses, schools, social organizations to every individual internet user. Each individual, by behaving responsibly and wisely in cyberspace, is contributing to protecting the community.

The Convention also emphasizes the role of cybersecurity experts, researchers, and technology organizations in knowledge sharing, early risk warning, security solution development, and support for the reintegration of former breaches into society. This is a "people-centered" approach that values education , understanding, and tolerance in cybersecurity protection.

Prevention is the foundation of security. When everyone works together, cyberspace will not only be a place for communication and creativity, but also a trustworthy environment – where trust, knowledge, and responsibility become the strongest shield.
