Former Politburo member and former Head of the Central Committee's Ideology and Culture Department, Nguyen Khoa Diem, along with other delegates, viewed documents about President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.

The event was organized by the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City. Attendees included former Politburo member and former Head of the Central Committee's Ideology and Culture Department, Nguyen Khoa Diem, along with representatives from various departments and agencies, researchers, the armed forces, young people, and representatives of General Nguyen Chi Thanh's family.

The exhibition is one of the activities honoring the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh to the struggle for national independence, the building of socialist North Vietnam, and the struggle for national reunification.

Featuring 40 photographic documents, the exhibition focuses on three themes: The story of Tan Trao; President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh during their journey of national liberation, building socialism in the North and liberating the South, and unifying the country; and President Ho Chi Minh's affection for General Nguyen Chi Thanh's family.

All of this is vividly recreated through the milestones in the struggle for independence, freedom, and peace for the Vietnamese nation. In this struggle, President Ho Chi Minh was the initiator and leader, while General Nguyen Chi Thanh was the successor, implementing it with astute political and military strategies.

According to the organizers, the exhibition contributes to clarifying the overarching guiding principle: To achieve peace, one must win and maintain national independence, while combining national strength with the strength of the times and securing international support. Through this, it demonstrates the special affection and trust that President Ho Chi Minh held for General Nguyen Chi Thanh and his family even after the General's passing.

The exhibition is open until December 25th.

Representatives from various units and schools in Hue City received the book "President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh".

Earlier, the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum and the General's family organized a seminar to launch and introduce the book "President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh".

This book compiles 80 historical events with illustrations, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first time Comrade Nguyen Vinh met and was honored to be named Nguyen Chi Thanh by President Ho Chi Minh in the Tan Trao Liberation Zone (August 17, 1945 - August 17, 2025). The 80 events in the book recreate the special relationship between the brilliant leader of the Vietnamese revolution and his outstanding student and loyal associate, while also highlighting the contributions of General Nguyen Chi Thanh to the struggle for national independence, freedom, and the happiness of the people.

On this occasion, representatives of the family of General Nguyen Chi Thanh donated books to units and schools in Hue City.
