Authorities reclaim over 15,000 square meters of prime land.

The Hanoi People's Committee Office has just issued a document to relevant departments, agencies, and localities regarding the reclamation of land plots in Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts for auction.

According to the proposal, Hanoi will reclaim 11,017.2 m2 of land in plots A3/NO*, A4/NO, A5/NO2 and 4,401.9 m2 of land in plots A5/CC1, A5/DX in the Nam Trung Yen urban area, located in Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts.

Hanoi City requests that all units and localities urgently and seriously implement the tasks assigned by the City People's Committee, direct the handling and resolution of the case completely in order to hand over the land to the Hanoi Land Fund Development Center, report the results to the Chairman of the City People's Committee and send them to the City Inspectorate before October 2023.

The Department of Planning and Investment is urgently processing the procedures to terminate the project implementation plan for land plots A3/NO*, A4/NO, and A5/NO2 in accordance with regulations. Simultaneously, the Hanoi Tax Department is determining the amount of non- agricultural land tax payable by the units that have used the land for business purposes in land plots A3/NO*, A4/NO, A5/NO2, B5-CC1, and C8 in the Nam Trung Yen Urban Area.

In addition, the City also requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to proactively coordinate with the units receiving the land plots and develop a plan for auctioning the land use rights of these plots in the fourth quarter of 2023…

Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee requested Bitexco Corporation to urgently and seriously hand over nearly 5.3 hectares of land in the South Ring Road 3 Urban Area (The Manor Central Park) before September 15th .
