In 2025, the contest attracted more than 4,600 authors with more than 17,000 photos and video clips, 1.7 times more than last year. Each work is a touching story, a true slice of Vietnam, the peaceful, beautiful life, and positive changes every day of the Vietnamese people.
"2025 is also a year with many important events of the country, marked in the minds of the Vietnamese people. Including the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day.
In that context, each work participating in the award is a prism of happiness, forming pieces and from there, "painting" a peaceful, beautiful, developed Vietnam. This year, the Vietnam Happy Day Festival is organized as an experiential journey around Hoan Kiem Lake with 13 activity points symbolizing 13 "emotional rhythms".
One of the most attractive highlights of the festival was the mass wedding ceremony for 80 couples with the theme "Love is happiness and happiness is also love". Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh said that the joy of 80 couples on the big day symbolized 80 years of independence, freedom and happiness of the nation.
"Among them are young couples who have just begun to step into the threshold of happiness, but there are also couples who have been together, holding hands for 15 years, 20 years and 30 years. They are a vivid image showing that happiness is not a miracle, but rather understanding and sharing persistently through each day," Mr. Le Hai Binh emphasized.
The Vietnam Happiness Day 2025 is considered the first step towards building an annual event, becoming a special occasion to remind that the happiness of Vietnamese people is cultivated from peace, love, solidarity and simple values that make up the national cultural identity.
The event's message also affirmed that Vietnam is not only attractive for its landscape and people, but also a destination of humanity, peace and faith in a bright future.
Many new experiences at Vietnam Happy Fest
