80 couples attend mass wedding ceremony at Vietnam Happy Fest 2025

VOV.VN - The opening ceremony of “Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” officially opened on the morning of December 6 at the Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street (Hanoi). The festival was chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of “Vietnam Happy Fest 2025”, Mr. Le Hai Binh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture , Sports and Tourism (MCST), emphasized that “Vietnam Happy Fest” is a special festival. It is a festival where every citizen and tourist coming to the capital can “walk, touch” and “feel” the happiness of Vietnam.

“The year 2025 marks a proud milestone when Vietnam rose to 46th place in the global happiness index report, up 8 places compared to the previous year. These are not just statistical numbers, but also recognition of the persistent efforts of the Party, State and people of Vietnam in creating a peaceful and humane environment, and above all, reflecting the optimistic and benevolent spirit of the Vietnamese people,” Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh emphasized.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 3rd Happy Vietnam Awards, held on the platform to promote Vietnam's image - Vietnam.vn, has continued to reap many successes. In 2025, the contest attracted more than 4,600 authors with more than 17,000 photos and video clips; 1.7 times higher than last year. Each work is a touching story, a true slice of Vietnam; the peaceful, beautiful life, changing positively every day of the Vietnamese people.

Delegates pressed the button to open "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025". The festival will take place until December 7, 2025 in the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square ( Hanoi ) with a series of diverse, creative and meaningful activities.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples took place with the joy of many people and tourists.

The overall concept of the event is the Road of Happiness with a journey of 13 activities stretching from Le Thai To Street to Hang Khay Street, through Dinh Tien Hoang Street and ending at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.

The journey will unfold like a stream of emotions, where every step is a story, every small corner is a miracle of Vietnamese life today.

With 13 experience points, likened to 13 emotional rhythms, the space of this year's event will take attendees through: Happy Vietnam Exhibition; digital interactive space; photobooth and art exhibition areas; Happy Tree - where wishes and seeds of love are sent; Happy Prism, Happy Map...
