The atmosphere in the center of the capital on a December morning seemed to calm down before the stories of strong love. Most special was the image of a couple who had been married for 16 years, but for eight years the husband had to use a wheelchair after a serious work accident. Recalling that dark time, the wife shared that her only thought at that time was how to save her husband "at all costs". And the miracle of love happened, when the husband recounted that during his coma, he "only remembered his wife's name". Love became a great motivation to help them overcome all difficulties. At the wedding, the wife emotionally expressed: "I love his patience, he is always patient with me in everything".

Also bringing a lot of emotions is the story of another couple who have been together for 40 years. They have gone through 35 difficult years together since the husband had an accident. With all the silent sacrifices, both of them still steadfastly accompany each other. The husband choked up and told his wife: "Thank you for holding my hand all the way, without you I certainly would not be happy."

Along with the emotional low notes were the joyful moments of the elderly couples. The most impressive was the 75-year-old couple, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary - a milestone likened to a Diamond Wedding. During the exchange, when MC Quyen Linh asked: "When arguing, who gives in to whom?", the wife honestly said: "I am the one who has to give in." In response, the 75-year-old groom humorously admitted: "I must be a bit patriarchal", making the whole audience burst into laughter.

The atmosphere of the ceremony became even more exciting with the appearance of People's Artist Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts - in the role of "master of ceremonies". With his witty hosting style, Director Xuan Bac stirred up the atmosphere, encouraging 80 couples to exchange happy kisses right on stage.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hai Binh said that 2025 marks a milestone when Vietnam rose to 46th place globally in the World Happiness Report. This is a recognition of the persistent efforts in creating a peaceful and humane living environment. Mr. Le Hai Binh emphasized: "Each citizen is the subject of creating happiness, is the one who inspires and tells the story of that happiness through his own life. For the Vietnamese people, happiness is always built on simple things."

The event affirmed the message: Happiness is not a distant miracle, but comes from understanding and sharing every day.
