On December 6, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television (VTV), and the Association of Photographic Artists to organize the Vietnam Happy Day 2025.

80 couples "blooming with happiness"

Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh said that in 2025, Vietnam will rise to 46th place globally in the World Happiness Report, up 8 places compared to last year.

This is not only a statistical figure, but also a recognition of the Party and State's persistent efforts in creating a peaceful and humane living environment and, above all, the optimistic and benevolent spirit of the Vietnamese people.

According to Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh, Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 has an event space stretching along the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake. There are 13 experience points designed as 13 emotional rhythms.

Especially the mass wedding of 80 couples - "Love is happiness". The joy of 80 couples today symbolizes 80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness of the nation.

Among them, there are young couples starting a new life, and there are couples who have been together for 15, 30, 50 years. They are living images showing that happiness is not a miracle, but understanding and sharing every day.

Love blossomed from taekwondo class

At today's wedding, there was a couple who received blessings and congratulations not only from the audience but also from taekwondo students.

They are Mr. Bui Van Quyet - 32 years old, lecturer of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 and his wife Vu Thanh Tam - 33 years old, taekwondo master in Hanoi.

Before that, the two people's feelings started from participating in the martial arts club at the university. After 14 years, including 7 years living under the same roof, they have two lovely children. From the first days of love until now, he has always respected his wife and said that there is no winning or losing like in a competition, love is sharing, trying to overcome, looking to the future.

"I think in marriage, couples need to be steadfast, overcome difficulties by looking in the same direction, and not let conflicts last more than three days," he said.
